Start your puppy off on the right paw with King Street Canine Kindy classes. It’s not about the tricks, it’s about the trust. This is the start of a long relationship so start out on the right paw.

This 6-week course is run by canine behaviourist John Ortega of Man’s Best Friend Australia. John is trained through the National Dog Trainers Federation Australia.

In these classes, John will help your puppy socialise with other puppies who are most suited based on temperament, age, and breed. Training for basic commands will be taught to you, the parent.  However, the goal is for your fur baby to have the best start in making friends. Learn how to avoid negative behaviours such as noise phobias or anxieties which can cause issues later in life.

Your puppy will receive a one on one tailored training session with John at the end of canine kindy. All training is tailored to you, your lifestyle, and your puppies’ individual needs. It’s not about the tricks, it’s about the trust!

Classes go for 6 weeks and are held Saturdays at Man’s Best Friend training facility in Dulguigan. The first session is held at King Street Veterinary Hospital with only the humans attending. In this session John will answer all of your questions and prepare you on what to expect over the next 5 weeks. The next 5 weeks can then be all about your new puppy and building their confidence.

A class schedule will be given out for each class prior to booking.

Cost of the classes are $400 for the 6 weeks which must be paid for at the time of booking. This is the start of a lifelong relationship with your puppy so let’s start out with the best chance of making it a happy and stress-free life!

Puppies must be no older than 16 weeks to start and be up to date with their vaccinations, worming and be at optimum health.
