Consultation times are:
Monday to Friday
9:00am to 5:00pm
Consultations can be made for your pet for a whole range of reasons such as any health problems or concerns, vaccination and preventative treatments, injuries and emergencies, behavioural issues and nutritional advice.
We treat smaller companion animals such as dogs, cats, birds, rodents, rabbits, ferrets and reptiles.
During the consultation, our vets will perform a thorough physical examination and assess any problems or issues you might have with your pet. Our team of qualified nurses are also there to help you and answer any of your questions!
Clients are asked to book appointments for their pets in order to reduce waiting times and allow us to provide an optimal service. In case of emergency it is recommended to phone ahead. This will allow us to make arrangements and be ready to promptly attend to your pet when you arrive the clinic.
The clinic phone number is 02 66724322.
Consultations are booked in for 20 minute allocations. If your pet has multiple health issues please let the receptionist know as we may need to book an extended consultation to address all of the problems. We will always prioritise any health issues and address the more important ones first. If the consultation runs over-time the veterinarian may charge an additional fee, or may rebook your pet in for a follow up appointment.
If your pet is vomiting or has diarrhoea, collecting a fresh stool sample to bring in may be helpful to get appropriate testing performed sooner rather than later. If there is excessive drinking, inappropriate urination, vomiting or a very sick animal, collecting a fresh urine sample and bringing this in for evaluation may help to speed up the diagnosis of the underlying problem. Both of these samples could be collected in a clean, dry, sealable plastic container, or you can collect a sterile sample container from us prior to your visit.
Home visits
Travelling to the vet can be a very stressful experience for you and your pet. Our veterinarians are available for house visits and can perform a range of treatments in the comfort of your own home. We can also collect your pet and bring them to the clinic if further treatments are required.

In the case of emergencies we recommend Animal Emergency Services at Carrara.
