Hi I’m Makaeli also known as Mak.

My journey with King Street Veterinary Hospital began in June 2019. I was incredibly lucky to secure my first job as a veterinary nurse while completing my certificate IV in veterinary nursing.

I have a strong passion for caring for all our patients, passing my knowledge onto their families, and supporting them however I can.

I am very grateful to be a part of the King Street Vet team.

For almost thirty years I have relied on the Vets, Nurses and support staff to keep me informed, solve routine and infrequent problems that have arisen with my animals, and consistently provide professional services at a very high level whilst maintaining competitive pricing.
Since 2017, the vets and nurses have volunteered their time to assist with a competition activity held to showcase almost 100 cats and kittens in the Tweed each year. In this, their collaboration with our non-profit group has been invaluable, allowing us to hold this popular event to raise awareness of Responsible Pet Ownership.

As a breeder of pedigree cats I have been taking my animals to King Street Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years now. I have always found the Staff to be helpful, friendly, polite and caring, the Vets kind, knowledgeable and experienced when caring for my babies. In times of worry / loss of an animal, the level of sympathy and empathy has been most comforting.
Over the years I have seen the practice evolve and improve into the modern well run facility it is today.
